Essence
This work explores the essence of being, what we're all made of.
Concept ::
A collection of small glass jars, displayed on a long glass shelf, each of which contains an essential human element.
The element may be a body fluid (blood, water, tears, semen, urine) or a bodily element (clipped toe nails, hair/pubic hair, eyelashes, skin flakes, used bandaids) or a description or emotional statement (typed words on scraps of paper) or objects of sentiment (war medals, coils of video tape, wrapped packages).
Each jar is labelled with a person's name.
